Sri Bhagavan was born on March 7th 1949 in a village called Natham, located at North Arcot District of Tamil Nadu. As a child he was known to be extraordinary, given more to aspects of introspection and solitude rather than to play. At a very young age he had said that his purpose in life was to effect a massive change in the world. From 1983 to 1990 Bhagavan and his first disciples had gone into a retreat deep within the Chitoor Disrict of Andhra Predesh. They had set up a spiritual school called Jeevashram. It was during this time that a lot of individuals including his chosen disciples started having divine mystical experiences, which revealed to them who Bhagavan really was. Revelations followed for the youthful disciples paving the way for the transmission of this message throughout India and around the world. From humble beginnings, today the movement is a growing phenomena with over 15 million followers. This number is increasing daily. A Message from Sri Bhagavan “Humanity faces a quantum leap forward. It faces a deeper social upheaval and creative restructuring of all time. Without clearly recognizing it, we are engaged in building the world’s first Golden Age. In the near future we will be the first generation to create a global Golden Age. The passage of time, from June 2004 to June 2012, is humanity’s greatest opportunity to become enlightened. A new civilization would come and along with it a new frame of consciousness. This new frame of consciousness would mean an increased ability to see things from a higher perspective. Our consciousness would continue to expand and there would be no returning to a tribal or a national life. Our energies would get directed towards spiritual enlightenment and wholeness. The world would be transformed, from one dominated by materialism to one of balance and spirituality. The currently ruling world order would be completely transformed to one of equality between all human beings. The dawn of this new civilization, which we may call the Golden Age, is the single most explosive fact of our life times. We have a destiny to create – ‘A state of consciousness that is oneness with all that is”. AMMA
Amma
was born on August 15th 1954 in a village called Sangam, in the
state of Andhra Pradesh in Southourn India. Amma’s innocence,
graciousness and immense wisdom instil in the hearts of the listener
a tremendous reverence and an immediate affection and love for her.
She has difficulty in saying no when asked. Tremendous miracles
happen in her presence. She is the embodiment of love – the
divine mother. One could say that Amma & Bhagavan are like one
being in two bodies. Bhagavan is the one who is guiding this process
and Amma is generating tremendous energy, so that the Oneness state
becomes available for everyone. When asked about healing, Bhagavan
often tells people to ask Amma as she will react faster than him.
Amma is giving darshans in Nemam 5 days a week. Thousands of people
gather to be in her presence. All seem to share a unique personal
relationship with her. Seeing is believing. Seeing is experiencing What can we do as individuals in the face of inhuman violence, terrorism? We wake up to another day's revenge, retribution and rancor. The violence and brutality that surrounds us is the result of the destructive effect of fragmentation - one individual against another, one group against another, religiously, socially, culturally and economically. We are brothers and sisters, children of the same mother, inheritors of the same collective destiny. What we do to another, we do to ourselves. Why then do we behave as though we are inhuman warring tribal factions? How can we hunt or kill another? Is not the experience of pain the same for all? Do not all living beings dread fear? How then can be perpetrate violence and pain on another? Will we today take the time to teach our children that division in any name whether sacred or secular is a crime? Will we tell them that we are human beings and not labels that divide us? Will we in this moment of crisis mould their young minds to be citizens of the world and not narrow bigots? Ideological differences are at the root of the violence that is robbing sanity and endangering survival. When we become concerned with our own individual survival, with the survival of our group, our belief, we are being divisive and threaten the actual survival of the whole. Let us have a deeper insight into truth. the violence and conflict we are witnessing is a dramatization of the unspeakable inner violence of humanity. We are not individuals, separate. What happens to us happens to all of humanity, all of life. Physically we might live isolated in our secluded homes, screening our domestic violence from the eyes of the world but psychologically we are inseparable from the whole of mankind. The poisonous fumes of our inner turbulence seep through the collective consciousness of humanity. The violence within us, between parents and children, husbands and wives, brothers and sisters and at work is the very source of danger and destruction. Let each one of us respond with a sense of immediacy. Let all of us, the atheist and the God fearing, the peasant at the plough and the mother beside the cradle, the office goer and the laborer, let us all own responsibility for what is happening around us. What 'can' we do as individuals now? What 'must' we as individuals do now? How can each of us be content to see some heroes and professionals sacrificing their lives to protect the safety of others while we remain passive onlookers watching the drama of terror unfold right in front of our eyes? the specialists, whether from the armed forces or the political systems can alleviate the pain of the moment. They can remove the symptom but the cause of the violence lies simmering within our consciousness. It lurks as conflict, suppressed anger, divisiveness and spite within every one of us. Until this issue is addressed, violence would continue to unfold in the world's nations in one name or the other. The real solution therefore is to turn our attention inward, can we recognize the violence within and give way to peace. Even if 10 million among us who belong to a nation of 1 billion will get into peace, violence will subside. If 10 million will move into a higher state of consciousness, a state of total inner non-violence, peace and wellbeing would be possible. Though the causes of violence would continue to exist, they will not translate into acts of violence. We are the triggers of violence or peace. We cannot return to business as usual without steering away from our own inner strife.
The destiny of every human being known and unknown is tied up with us. In the crucible of terror that surrounds us, let us recast ourselves into a new generation of human beings. Let us move from the dark night of division towards the dawn of co-operation and Oneness. There is light at the end of the tunnel. A Student Of Truth An eager student of truth, went to India to study the ways of the far east under a great teacher, who was reputed to hold truth above anything else in the world. Having wholeheartedly accepted the world’s dictum that poverty and asceticism must go hand in hand with spirituality, the student had long since taken the vow of poverty. He was horrified to find the Master not sitting in a loincloth under a banyan tree, but living in ease and comfort in a marble palace, surrounded by treasures - the splendours similar to that of the Arabian nights. Further, the Master was beautifully dressed in oriental fashion, and wore magnificent jewels...The student was unable to restrain his amazement, and spoke at some length of his views on the fleshpots of Egypt and the uselessness of material possessions. The Master sat quietly by on his luxurious divan, waiting for the student to finish his tirade against riches, luxury and worldly goods. And then he spoke…… “it is not the possession of things, but the possession by them that counts”…… I have no interest in things for their worldly value, but, for their beauty and comfort that they give me. This did not please the young student, who argued that if the Master had no interest in them he should renounce them all. Even as he spoke a fire alarm was heard in the palace and through the wide open portals of the spacious rooms could be seen the flames hungrily devouring the precious works of art. The Master seemed quite unperturbed, the student however jumped into action, shouting frantic orders to the servants as to how the furnishings and art treasures should be saved. The teacher sat quietly by. The student rushed over to him….. “Get up and help….. all these wonderful and valuable things are being destroyed” but still the teacher sat and smiled. Finally, worn out by his efforts, the breathless student once more implored the Master…..”For the love of God do something to save all this wealth”. The teacher answered…..”I am not concerned. I possess it now and can always replace it, but as wealth it has no value to me. Yet you, who have come all this way to tell me how you have renounced wealth are in a terrible state of excitement and rage over the destruction of that which you have repeatedly told me was nothing”. Then as the astounded student looked about him, he saw the fire had receded and had left no trace of damage. There is a difference in possessing things and being possessed by them….watch what your condemnation of money and wealth is motivated by. Many people who claim that “things do not matter”, only say so because they do not have them. And many a person has taken the poverty vow. Many are praying or meditating in their own way... Arthur Collins 2004 Sri Bhagavan's Message (7th March 2007) ![]() The root cause of all suffering is the sense of separate existence. We have a divisive consciousness that perceives things as the me and the not me, the mine and the not mine, as my people and yours, as my nation and yours. Having divided all things, we feel threatened by the other. Fear in turn breeds war, conflict and further forms of violence. Are we then beyond redemption? Are we to remain a bunch of pessimistic philosophers or apathetic on-lookers bemoaning our collective doom? Not necessarily. We as a race are on the brink of a colossal transition from one of separation to that of Oneness. We would awaken from darkness to light, from untruth to truth. We would realize the oneness of all living things. Though each of us may live different lives, located away from each other in space and time, we are biologically, emotionally and spiritually one. There is only one body. What happens to the animals in the seas, happens to us - men and women. What happens to the forests happens to us in our bodies, since our bodies like the trees are made of the same earth. Are not our bodies moving clay forms endowed with intelligence? A conscientious effort at healing the earth would manifest as the ultimate healing of our own bodies. There is only one mind. This is the mind that has flowed through our fore fathers, us and would in turn continue to live through our children and their progeny. The collective torment or fear suffered by our own brethren in one part of the world would manifest as sleeping or waking nightmares to someone else-where in the world. Our pleasures and pains are interminably interlinked. We are one and cannot continue to live any further in an illusion of separation.
There is only one consciousness. We live in a holographic universe. Every individual, awakening into oneness is automatically affecting a few thousand people pushing them towards the only sane alternative way of experiencing reality.
Our experience of reality having changed we would go on to discovering newer ways of living and loving. We would create a better planet for the present and the future. This is our shared destiny. Liberation |

Judgment
This story happened in the days of Lao Tzu in China, and Lao Tzu loved it very much:
There was an old man in a village, very poor, but even kings were jealous of him because he had a beautiful white horse. Kings offered fabulous prices for the horse, but the man would say, “This horse is not a horse to me, he is a person, and how can you sell a person, a friend?” The man was poor, but he never sold the horse.
One morning, he found that the horse was not in the stable. The whole village gathered and they said, “You foolish old man! We knew that someday the horse would be stolen. It would have been better to sell it. What a misfortune!” The old man said: “Don’t go so far as to say that. Simply say that the horse is not in the stable is the fact; everything else is a judgment. Whether it is a misfortune or a blessing I don’t know, because this is just a fragment. Who knows what is going to follow? People laughed at the old man. They had always known that he was a little crazy.
But after 15 days, suddenly one night the horse returned. He had not been stolen, he had escaped into the wild, and not only that, he brought a dozen wild horses with him. Again the people gathered and they said, “Old man, you were right. This was not a misfortune; it has indeed proved to be a blessing.” The old man said: “Again you are going too far.” Just say that the horse is back. Who knows whether it is a blessing or not? It is only a fragment. You read a single word in a sentence – how can you judge the whole book?” This time the people could not say much, but inside they knew that he was wrong.
Twelve beautiful horses have come… The old man had an only son who started to train the wild horses, just a week later he fell from a horse and his legs were broken. The people gathered again and again they judged, they said, “Again you proved right” It was a misfortune. Your only son has lost the use of his legs, and in your old age he was your only support. Now you are poorer than ever.”
The old man said, “You are obsessed with judgment. Don’t go that far. Say only that my son has broken his legs. Nobody knows whether this is a misfortune or a blessing. Life comes in fragments and more is never given to you.”
It happened that after a few weeks the country went to war, and all the young men of the town were forcibly taken for the military. Only the old man’s son was left, because he was crippled. The whole town was crying and weeping, because it was a losing fight and they knew most of the young people would never come back. They came to the old man and they said, “You were right, old man – this has proved a blessing. Maybe your son is crippled, but he is still with you. Our sons are gone forever.” The old man said again,” you go on and on judging. Nobody knows! Only say this that your sons have been forced to enter into the army and my son has not been forced. But only the presence, the total, knows whether it is a blessing or a misfortune.” “Judge you not” – otherwise you will not become with the total. With fragments you will be obsessed, with small things you will jump to conclusions. Once you judge, you have stopped growing. Judgment means a stale state of mind, and mind always wants judgment, because to be in a process is always hazardous and uncomfortable. In fact, the journey never ends. One path ends, another begins; one door closes another opens. You reach a peak; a higher peak is always there. The presence is an endless journey. Only those who are so courageous that they don’t bother about the goal but are content with the journey, content just to live the moment and grow into it.
Oneness Blessing
Oneness Blessing is a worldwide phenomenon that is attracting the attention and involvement of individuals from all walks of life, from every continent and every faith. It is not here to change or replace any other practices or beliefs – it is here to heal, embrace and transform. Oneness Blessing embraces everyone and everything.
Oneness Blessing is a benediction. It is a divine energy transfer that activates a shift in the brain, activating a shift in consciousness, the nature of the shift is permanent. Oneness Blessing has come as an incredible awakening. The process allows you to awaken out of a sense of separation – a sense of duality. The Oneness Blessing activates various centre’s in the brain, awakening the seeker to multifarious perceptions of reality. There are many states and stages of consciousness. Consciousness is infinite –
Oneness Blessing removes obstacles in the network of Nadis (psychic nerves or energy) and Chakras, allowing the Awakening of the Kundalini Energy, reaching then the Lotus flower of a thousand petals (Sahasrara Chakra, crown of the head), which then opens all the nerves and channels for the experience of Oneness and Wholeness.
Oneness Blessing is given by people who have been through an initiation process at the Oneness University and have received the gift to transfer this divine energy. You cannot receive this by doing any practices, by insight or understanding – it is beyond the intellect and beyond the mind. This energy has its own intelligence and knows exactly what is right for you. Your openness and desire to receive it is all that is required.
Oneness Blessing is transferred by the blessing givers placing his or her hands gently on the crown of your head. However, there are other ways one can receive this divine energy – it can be received by intent and/or by phone. Experiences during the Oneness Blessing vary. You may experience tingling, calmness, inner peace, joy and bliss or you may feel nothing at all. People who are experiencing Oneness Blessing are finding that there is change, regardless of what they feel. People are being freed from negative emotions and traumas that have been stored at a cellular and energetic level. It is healing relationships, addictions – everything connected to life. Oneness Blessing is an amazing blessing, an incredible gift of love – a gift of divine grace.
It is better that the recipients have some interaction to establish a relationship with the blessing giver before receiving the Oneness Blessing. This isn’t always possible but is helpful to you, feeling comfortable with the blessing giver helps you to trust and have faith in this divine energy exchange. Oneness Blessing is given where there is an appropriate exchange, experience has shown that it is much more effective than if no exchange takes place – it is a Karmic balance.
